Bryan Painter recently retired after 36 years as the head athletic trainer at Corvallis High School — five decades of Spartan athletes, generations of coaches, and enough athletic tape to wrap the state of Oregon. A certified athletic trainer through the NATA and a member of the Beaver Sports Medicine team, he was, by multiple accounts, the glue guy of Corvallis athletics. And not just because of the tape.
