Kyle Hatch is a veteran and veterans benefits advocate who works at Samaritan Health in Corvallis. After leaving the military, he channeled his search for purpose and community into helping other veterans navigate the VA system — a process he describes as translating a language built entirely out of acronyms and frustration. He joined the PTCH to explain how VA benefits actually work, what veterans are commonly leaving on the table, and how one of his cases yielded $375,000 in back pay going all the way back to 2019. He's been Jason's go-to referral for veteran patients ever since.
