Dr. Liam Vu is a sports medicine physician at Samaritan Athletic Medicine in Corvallis and one of the team doctors for the Oregon State Athletic Department — which is how Kathy knows him and how he ended up on the show. He joined the PTCH to cut through the hype around joint injections: what cortisone actually does, when PRP makes sense, what stem cells can and cannot do, and why the injection is almost never the whole plan. His framing — injections as a window to allow rehab, not a substitute for it — turned out to be almost identical to what Jason does with adjustments.
