Jason's signature opening question for every MD or DO guest — a deadpan role-reversal of the usual chiropractor jokes.
A recurring bit Jason describes as “a really important question that we always like to ask doctors that come on here”: “Did you become an MD because you couldn’t get into chiropractic school?” It flips the usual hierarchy — and the usual chiropractor jokes — on its head, asked with a completely straight face.
The all-time answer belongs to plastic surgeon Dr. Rick Green: “I didn’t know what a chiropractor was… you don’t know what you don’t know. So I couldn’t even ask the question.” When the hosts floated the same premise to sports-medicine DO Dr. Liam Vu — does he get asked about chiropractic? — the reply was equally honest: “Pretty much every time.”
It’s affectionate, not adversarial: the whole show is built on a chiropractor and a PT refusing to take their own professions too seriously.
